He spawns on the lot when a Sim dies, performing various animations in front of the dying Sim before spawning an urn or a tombstone. He also appears in The Sims FreePlay as part of the 'Life Dreams' update. There's still a lot of clipping, but it's clipping from the original game. The Grim Reaper is an NPC who appears in The Sims: Livin' Large, The Sims 2, The Sims 3, The Sims 4 and The Sims Medieval. For some reason the weights from Sims Medieval finally work for LOD0, so I got those in there now. It always bothered me that this mesh didn't have lower LODs since it's so high poly. So it won't change so dramatically when you switch genders. So I fixed that.įebruI began to dislike the way the male morph looked, so I made a totally separate swatch for it. NovemFound out the arms got a little messed up when I merged geometry data. I've also made both arms jut out a bit since they never looked quite right as they were. You'll need to delete the older files and replace them with the newer one since I've renamed this package ever so slightly. No longer! Now all your Reaper needs are in just one outfit. OctoAnother year another update? I didn't think I'd go back to this, but I've recently figured out how to get all parts of a mesh in just one package and it's always kinda bugged me that the hood and wings were separated form the robe as a hat. I dunno why that part was matte, but it's been fixed. couldn't fix that, but I did fix a part that was oddly matte. At some point the back of the wings gained a shine. Now it sticks out like it might more naturally. I reslotted the mesh so that the arm doesn't go right through the skull. SeptemI decided to revisit this CC after playing with it a bit. You'll have to re-apply the hood to your Sim after replacing it. GAH! CAS Tools has an option to fix that, but it took hours. I don't do much shopping in the Sims4, so I didn't notice this hood replaced the uniform for the shirt. Fixed that.ĪpOMG, another bug found and fixed. Noticed the skirt folded oddly when sitting. I fixed a bizarre issue where other LODs seemed faceted when you zoomed out! Hooray! SimGlass looked really inconsistent when applied to just the hair and the tattered wrists, so I've left those opaque. I had to make some (grumble) compromises in order to get this guy into the Sims 4. MANUALLY! To make sure the sliders were alright. I manually unwrapped it after transferring UVs (something you do for Sims4 customs) and set it into a grid. Simply put hair was NOT meant to go over the shoulders and down the body like this in the Sims 4. And, since this guy is NOT a skeleton, I made sure the sliders work! So you can have a buff or overweight Medieval Grim Reaper! That said, the hair clips into the body even without that. The main robe lost ALL it's vertex groups and I, somehow, managed to transfer ones form a lower LOD to the full version. The Sim s4's Grim Reaper is probably my favourite, but this guy stands ready to bump him off every time.Īnd this guy was a paaaaaaaaaaaaaain to bring over.
